Passion Project
Even more experimenting with my camera, editing, and grading.

This video builds on my previous project, extending my exploration into more advanced techniques and styles. Over three days in San Jose, I experimented with lighting setups for a short shoot, pushing my understanding of practical lighting even further. I also adopted a new approach to color grading node structure, editing the footage in a slightly different style to enhance the overall aesthetic.

Using a Canon R6 Mark II, I shot with both a 14mm lens for expansive wide-angle shots and a 50mm lens for more detailed, intimate compositions. Each segment showcases my growth in cinematography, featuring diverse lighting techniques and refined color grading. This project signifies an upgrade in my skills and a deeper dive into the art of storytelling, setting the stage for more polished and cohesive work in the future.
